Published by Jessie Hayes under Uncategorized

Wives and Husbands Ephesians 5  22Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord. 23For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. 24Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in [...]

God Will Provide – Tithing

Published by Drew (Amber) Gorton under Uncategorized

I got paid today, and just wrote out all my bills.  Unlike most months, I didn’t pay rent first.  I wrote out a check to the church- 10% of what I made this month.  I have been listening to the messages spoken by various people of our church for some time now- their testimonies of [...]

Living as Children of Light

Published by Jessie Hayes under Uncategorized

Living as Children of Light  17So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking. 18They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due [...]

Hope Now

Published by Jessie Hayes under Uncategorized

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. God is love, Jesus is our hope, and we carry the faith because we believe in Jesus and what he did for us on the cross. I heard recently that there are two kinds of faith. The first, is your [...]

Repenting

Published by Drew (Amber) Gorton under Uncategorized

I remember when I was a little kid, I used to say “sorry” all the time…. for EVERYTHING.  Then one day my mom asked me what it meant to be “sorry,” and I said that it means I felt bad for what I had done.  She explained to me that saying sorry means that you [...]
